The Nacel English School

A mixed-use development located on the busy Ballards Lane High Street, close to Finchley Central station. The scheme consists of nine 1-and 2-bedroom residential apartments, an English language school with eight classrooms, and two commercial units designed to enhance the active frontage of this well-used local thoroughfare.

The project involved the demolition of the existing buildings, followed by the construction of a new basement and reinforced concrete (RC) frame. The building features a traditional brick and zinc façade, delivering a clean, modern aesthetic. The apartments and school spaces were fully fitted out to a functional and contemporary standard, providing practical and well-designed environments for both residents and students.

This development successfully combines residential, educational, and commercial uses within a single urban footprint, contributing to the ongoing improvement and diversification of the local area.
